This Southern Grocery Chain Keeps Expanding in This New State
A best-kept Southern grocery store is trying to reveal its sub sandwiches, BOGO bargains, and hot deli options throughout Alabama,
Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, and both Carolinas. Publix has 1,297 stores but is considering expanding, most recently in Kentucky.
The grocery business said on its website that it opened its first store in Kentucky on June 23 and plans a third. Near Fredericksburg, Va., this new grocery store
At the end of 2023, Louisville will have its first Publix Liquor store and drive-thru pharmacy outside of Florida.
Louisville gets another location in 2024. The last Kentucky store will open in Lexington later that year. A Publix Liquor and drive-thru pharmacy will be at these locations.

Outside of its new state, the Southern grocer has expanded in its base states. It opened stores in Winder, Ga., Plantation, Fla., and Boca Raton in May.
