Quick Exercises To Give Your Eyes A Break From Screen Time

20-20-20 Rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Blinking: Intentionally blink every few seconds to moisten the eyes.

Palming: Rub your hands together until warm, then cup them over your closed eyes without touching them. Take a few deep breaths.

Focus Change: Focus on a nearby object for a few seconds, then on a distant one. Repeat several times.

Eye Rolling: Close your eyes and gently roll them in a clockwise direction, then counterclockwise.

Distance Gazing: Periodically stand up, go to a window, and gaze into the distance.

Figure-Eight: Trace an imaginary figure-eight with your eyes about 10 feet in front of you.

Temple Massage: Gently massage your temples in a circular motion for 20 seconds.

Close & Relax: Simply close your eyes and take deep breaths for a minute.
